Resume tip! If you have a skills section on your resume, make sure it maximizes your SKILLS, not your personality. For example - Using the phrase "hard-working" as a skill. Most (if not all) employers will look right past it. It's not a skill. It's a character attribute. What's more meaningful are tech platforms you've worked in or certifications. For example: Microsoft Excel, Sage, QuickBooks, CFA certification Those are skills, not personality traits. You can still showcase being "hard-working" by giving quantifiable examples when you get to the interview stage, but leave it off your resume to make it stronger and more attractive to employers.
