Bermuda International Long Term Insurers and Reinsurers - BILTIR is proud to announce the start of its 7th annual summer #intern program. The program is ten weeks long running from June 10 to August 16 with 23 interns participating from 13 member companies - Agam Capital, Athene, Hannover Re, Global Atlantic Financial Group, Kuvare Life Re , Legal & General, Resolution Life, Pacific Life Re, Phoenix Re, RGA, Somerset Reinsurance, Wilton Re Bermuda and SunLife. The interns attended an orientation session on June 10th to introduce them to the life/annuity business sector with Sylvia Oliveira, FSA, CFA as the presenter. They will also attend weekly lunch and learn sessions generously hosted by member companies on topics such as Introduction to ESG Investing, Insight into the Asian Market and #Reinsurance vs #Insurance. The Bermuda Monetary Authority will also host the interns for a session introducing them to the supervision of long-term companies in Bermuda. #buildingforthelongterm #lifeinsurance #annuities
