As a sales leader, sales enablement is something that is always top of mind for me. 🔓 Yesterday I had the pleasure of attending a Pavilion sales enablement class led by Bob Kruzner and a few of his points really resonated with me. 5️⃣ Things to Keep in mind when training sellers: 1. The Power of 3 (Stick to 3 to make concepts STICK) ➖ Don’t overload folks with too many takeaways, it won't stick. Three is the ideal number for your brain to retain new info. Humans respond to patterns, our brains are pattern seeking machines. Three is the smallest number we need to create a pattern. 2. Don’t let perfect get in the way of good ➖ Do the best you can, don’t try and make it perfect. I think about this when recording training videos on Loom for the Valcre®team. 3. Slow down to go fast ➖ Don’t rush to get somewhere, stick with your process, your sales play, don’t short change discovery. 4. Audible ready ➖ Are you able to change your conversation, your questions, your engagement based on your audience (CXO vs Director level) 5. Redundancy is expensive, but repetition drives retention ➖ Everything we do in sales and enablement is about driving retention. Sellers are never going to retain things hearing it once. They have to hear it. Multiple times, do it multiple times, speak to it multiple times…before it becomes common & comfortable. #salesenablement #continiousimprovement
