For the 10th year in a row, Big O Tires’ Central Arizona Automotive Group sponsored the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life of East Valley, Arizona. Not only was the group the presenting sponsor, but they were also the leading fundraiser this year – raising more than $140,000! Since joining the cause in 2015, this Big O Tires team has raised more than $665,000 to support American Cancer Society.
If anyone knows Oatsie...they know!:)
For those who don't know Brian Oates, here is why you should...

This is a story of how every one of us - no matter how big or small - has the power to make a positive impact in this world.
My 9-y-o child had the idea of helping improve the life of at least one person affected by cancer and started this fundraiser where the money collected are donated to the Irish Cancer Society and at the end of the month both Johanna and I are going to donate our hair to the Rapunzel Foundation.
The kindness and generosity have been so overwhelming and Johanna's target has nearly tripled to date.
Please feel free share and help raise awareness of the importance of prevention and early diagnostics of cancer and support the priceless work of the Irish Cancer Society.

Today is 𝗔 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿 𝗗𝗮𝘆. At MLC, we are fighting cancer by gearing up for our annual participation in Pedal the Cause. 🎗️
Proceeds raised for the annual cycling challenge goes to cancer research through St. Louis Siteman Cancer Center and Siteman Kids, where Mississippi Lime is headquartered. Research projects funded by the cause have the potential to benefit cancer patients around the world.
To date, our team has raised $550,000 for the cause. MLC matches 100% of donations made through our team. Together, we are working toward A World without Cancer.

This is not just a story about the best breakfast - it’s a story about a best friend (who needs help for the worst reason).
Almost every morning I eat toast with banana and peanut butter. It’s been at least ten years and I’m not sick of it (and hope I never will be). If you haven’t tried it, consider this your wake-up call.
And just so you know, I always slice up the banana in rounds and lay them out like this (I promise this will matter later):
[OOOO]

One of the perks of a best friend is you can stay with them when you’re in town, and they’ll offer to pick up your favorite breakfast foods and snacks. (Or is it just that my friends and I really care about food??)
That’s exactly what happened a couple of years ago when I was in New York and stayed with Devin Bramhall. I let her know about the banana and toast situation, and of course she made sure to have some on hand.
What happened next absolutely blew me away.
Ever-thoughtful Devin, of course, had toast ready and waiting for me when I woke up. I was so thrilled (I'm a post-hibernation bear cub in the morning) - then I looked at the plate and my jaw dropped.

Devin had made peanut butter toast with bananas in a way I had *never seen before*. She sliced the banana lengthwise (kind of hard to tell from my crummy text art up there) and laid it out in neat rows across the toast. 🤯🤩
She had shown me an entirely new angle on something I saw every day.
I think about this now almost every time I make this breakfast for myself, because it encapsulates so much of what I love about Devin - she is unendingly kind and generous and would do anything for her friends. But she is also the most creative person I have ever met and approaches everything with a totally new perspective. You will always encounter the unexpected with Devin.
Now, Devin is facing the unexpected herself - an incredibly rare form of ovarian cancer. Treatment has made it difficult for her to work and support herself, so it’s our turn to support her.
An amazing lineup of marketers is teaming up to put on a fundraiser for Devin, taking place on Monday. Sign up or donate below, it will go such a long way.

And don't forget to try this breakfast. I swear, it's the best (and so is Devin).
