Agriculture is an important sector for Bangladesh, and the government has been actively promoting use of Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) technologies to enable data for digital transformation of the sector. In respect to this, a blog discussing agriculture data standardization in Bangladesh has been published in the World Economic Forum. 'Agricultural value chain and households' livelihood in Africa: The case of Nigeria' The paper examined how a change of perception via seen agriculture as a business rather than a means of sustenance can drive the creation of wealth, which can help transform rural communities, increase income, reduce poverty and help the continent achieve the United Nations (UN) Sustainable Developments Goals (SDGs) of no poverty (SDG-1) and food and nutrition security (SDG-2) by 2030. Part of the data for the work was garnered from field surveys of stakeholders along one of the key crop value chains in one state in the south and one state in the north of the country.
