Until now all the FDA could do was encourage diversity, equity, and inclusion in clinical trials -- in hopes of making some sort of progress towards a maddeningly elusive goal: to generate trial results and mass-produced drugs to benefit all of us, and not simply the traditional primary target--white men. The data on the long history of imbalanced trials is pretty grim--but now change is in the wind, with the help of new federal guidelines aimed at fixing this problem. This upcoming (10/11 at 1:15 pm) webinar is my pick for the best way to learn what the future holds. And it's a terrific panel, including Heather Centauro and Jill Alvarez from Faber Daeufer & Itrato PC. See you there. #diversity #clinicaltrials #FDA
On October 11th, Faber Principal Jill Alvarez, and Counsel Heather Centauro will join our friends Deborah Livornese at Hyman, Phelps & McNamara, P.C., and Helen Hemley at Mass General Hospital, for a discussion on diversity in clinical trials, and the implications of the new federal guidelines (“FDORA”). We are thrilled to announce the launch of our latest collection of Protocols in collaboration with Marylebone Health Group(CHHP), starting with the Knee Flexion 0/90 Protocol. 💡 This Protocol is an inner-range assessment of Knee Flexion testing on a physiologically inefficient basis. Assessment demonstrates tension transfer from the non-contractile tissue. It will also indicate static visco-elastic tension in the muscle complex for both stability of the point and pelvis as an indirect measure. Comparing the relative force produced with the hamstring 90/90 and the prone 0-30 tests may give an indication of subtle dysfunction in the tendon complex. Learn more at https://hubs.ly/Q02zbH6P0 🚨
