Beyond Team Building: A Train, Art, and Strategy Adventure in Riga At #LTGCargo, we believe strong teams are built on a foundation of trust. Therefore, last week we took a unique approach to team building – a train journey to the marvelous city of Riga! Instead of the usual activities, we focused on building trust through art. The feedback? A resounding 10 out of 10! Here's what LTG Cargo recommends for your next team outing: Take the Train: Choose comfort and scenic views with #LTGLink. We used the 4-hour Vilnius-Riga trip to review and update our strategy – productive use of travel time. Calmly, comfortably, and with a nice cup of coffee, these few hours just flew by. Explore a New City: Break away from work and immerse yourselves in a different environment. Churches, panoramic views, local cuisine all of it works magic for clearing heads for new ideas and solutions. Engage with Art: Music, dance, architecture – choose what inspires you! We enjoyed a performance at the Riga Opera House’ Don Pasquale followed by a morning exploring the Digital Art Museum, sparking lively discussions. As Patrick Lencioni emphasizes in "The Five Dysfunctions of a Team," trust is the foundation of high-performing teams. Our Riga trip helped build that trust by creating shared experiences and fostering a relaxed, open atmosphere outside the office. Art discussions brought out diverse perspectives and boosted team spirit. Team building is a continuous process, but with creativity and the right tools, we can create teams that thrive! #TeamBuilding #Trust #Communication #LTGCargo #Culture

As the European Football Championship takes center stage in Germany, the German Airports Association (ADV) anticipates an influx of 2 million additional passengers. With the grand final soon to be held in Berlin, we were inspired to explore the potential for new air services to BER - Berlin Brandenburg Airport. ⚽ 🛫 Using aviation market data from BEONTRA’s Route Forecasting solution, we have identified the top 10 unserved European markets by O&D demand. Topping the list is the Spanish city of Bilbao (Aena), known for its dynamic culture and economic vitality. Following closely are Zagreb (Zagreb Airport Ltd. (Zračna luka Zagreb d.o.o.)), a city with a rich historical significance and a growing economic profile, and Florence (Toscana Aeroporti), renowned for its unparalleled cultural heritage and tourism appeal. Not only would football fans appreciate these new direct flights, but the broader travel and business community would too. We're excited to see if airlines will seize these opportunities in the near future. ✈️ 🌍 Discover how BEONTRA can help develop new air services for your airport: www.beontra.com/solutions. #Aviation #Airports #RouteDevelopment #BEONTRA

Talgo has delivered its first Avril trains to Renfe following the completion of on-track #testing. The new #rollingstock has accumulated almost 300,000 kilometres in the last year to ensure its full compatibility with all types of #railway lines in #Spain. This includes routes connecting Galicia, Asturias, Catalonia and Valencia. Avril is Talgo’s most advanced #train, aiming to set a new benchmark in the very high-speed #rail market. Each 12-coach, 200-metre-long, single-deck train has a capacity for up to 581 passengers. The units are also 100 percent low-floor at the same height as the platform to allow passengers to easily access the train and move throughout its interior. What’s more, the model has been designed with a reduced weight to lower #energyconsumption and optimise #efficiency. Talgo Avril is part of a highly flexible technological platform. It can automatically change track gauges between Iberian and International and can be equipped with #technology to operate north of the Pyrenees. This enables the model to be used on almost the entire #electrified rail network, paving the way for Renfe to serve more destinations with new high-speed rail #infrastructure. In the future, this will include #international connections between Spain and #France.

Morgan Mereday and I do a monthly coworking day together either in Madrid or Málaga but we’re fantastically horrible at taking a picture together. So here’s a photo of Madrid-Atocha with my cool iryo train that I’m currently sitting on. Funny thing… I learned about iryo at last year’s IIEX Amsterdam when Jordi and Javier presented the research that went into founding the private train company not so long ago, getting into fierce competition with Renfe’s long-time monopoly. I have been sold on their UVP since then and Rodeo13 is a loyal customer!

🎉Celebrating 27 Years of Dedication from Gianluca, our Head of Customer Care🎉 Last week, we proudly celebrated an incredible milestone – Gianluca Bovis’s 27th work anniversary with SpecTec! For nearly three decades, Gianluca has been a pillar of devotion, hard work, and commitment to our customers – truly embodying our “We Love What We Do” and "We Put the Customer at the Heart" directions from Our Compass. His dedication and contributions have helped to significantly shape our company and added to our success. We are immensely grateful for your passion, Gianluca. Here’s to many more years of collaboration and achievements together. Congratulations Gianluca on this remarkable milestone! 👏 Below are a few words from Gianluca on his journey with SpecTec - “I started working for SpecTec when I was 22 years old in 1997, the internet and mobile phones had just been introduced into society. There were no low-cost airlines; traveling and organizing trips without the tools we have now, was very difficult. My English was very poor when I started working, to the point that, on one of the first trips I made to Singapore, so that the travel agent could find me, I told him that I was wearing a red winter jacket. It's a shame that the jacket was suitable for the Italian climate, while in Singapore the temperature was 50 degrees. I'll let you imagine the state in which the agent found me outside the airport! SpecTec was my chance to work in the tech world and travel the world; I couldn't miss the opportunity! I started by taking inventories of spare parts on cargo vessels and over the years I always had the opportunity to grow professionally, until I became department director. Some might think that it's boring to work for the same company for so long, but that's not the case! The passion for my work, the people I met during my career, the management of relationships with clients spread all over the world were the fuel that allowed me to reach this goal.” #SpecTec #PeopleFirst #Culture #Celebrate #WorkAnniversary #Thankyou #People #WeLoveWhatWeDo #Leadership #PeopleLeader #WePutTheCustomerAtTheHeart
