#Publication_Alert Persistent left superior vena cava (PLSVC), is an uncommon congenital abnormality. In our paper entitled: "Left superior vena cava’s unconventional path to left atrium drainage: A case report" that was published recently in "Radiology Case Reports", we reported PLSVC in a patient requiring haemodialysis due to end-stage renal disease (ESRD). Due to challenging central vascular access, the left internal jugular vein was used for central venous access, which led to the diagnosis of PLSVC draining in the left atrium. This case emphasises how crucial it is to be aware of anatomical variances prior to inserting a central catheter! All doctors know that it is very difficult to tell whether an ECG with a CRBBB shows an AMI or not, even the clinical diagnostic guidelines say so. The new ECG (saahECG) in the (aVR) lead can scan and record the "R wave" fragmentation wave, which has a linear correlation with CAD and/or AMI. The LM or RCA coronary artery is found to be blocked or narrowed. This has also been reported in journals in recent years, but it is very difficult for existing ECGs to record the fragmentation wave of an aVR lead and the detection rate is extremely low.
