Maintaining high standards of integrity, energy levels and motivation of staff. Ensure that all sites are kept organized, clean and secure. Attend networking/marketing functions when deemed necessary. Plan, direct and coordinate production to meet customer expectations and requirements while maintaining quality service delivery to end user/customer. Secure and preserve incoming equipment that is deemed re-marketable and rapid move it to AR Team for resale. Support the values and mission of The Company. A few days ago, Betsy Kirkpatrick posed a very interesting question: How do you find your niche in your career? My response: "In my previous life, I was a Law School graduate, I even passed the Bar exam. I left it all behind and started over (left Romania and moved to US), as part time groundskeeper. I had no clue what my career path would be, but I wanted to be the best groundskeeper there was. When I first became a Maintenance Director, I realized that I was approaching a ceiling. That was when I have started to learn as much as I could about the other parts of the business-marketing, recruiting, sales, high level operations. One day I discovered LinkedIn and I have started connecting with people. Then I started posting. When my network was large enough, I've learned that I have an eye for connecting people looking for opportunities with people offering opportunities. A few more years in, I had an a-ha moment: I've been a networker/people connector my entire life (true story to tell another day). During this journey, I have learned a ton about building a personal brand and leveraging the power of this platform.
