This month's RBT Buddy Spotlight shines on College Station, home to an impressive NINE buddies! 🤩 These exceptional RBTs have shown remarkable care, dependability, and leadership, earning them the honor of mentoring New Hires at their center. We are incredibly proud of them! Here's what their mentees had to say about some of their buddies 🔽 "Throughout my training process and even now as an RBT, Bryan has been so helpful and been able to answer all my questions whenever I’ve needed help! He’s super bubbly and a fun person to be around and I’m super grateful to have such a good RBT buddy." - Isha Chalasani, RBT "Mikayla, She is funny, endearing, honest, caring, and very knowledgeable. She shows up every day with a smile and light heart, ready to take on the day, and love the kids the best she can, even on her days where she might not feel super up to it. If Mikayla has 100 fans, I am one of them. If Mikayla has 1 fan, I am that fan." -Logan Cook, Behavioral technician "I’m grateful for my RBT Buddy’s contribution to my journey towards becoming an RBT, she has given me guidance, support, and patience while training and preparing me for the exam and for a successful future at BI. During training Chyna took her time to explain and demonstrate different topics and answer any questions I had along the way." - Sweden Israel, Behavioral Technician **Pictured (from bottom to top): Alyssa Briones, Gabriella Ibarra, Mikayla Walla, Gabriella Martinez, Madison Dodds** **Not pictured: Chyna Love, Jaiden Chism, Bryan Pena, Karis Christian, and Ashlyn Miller**

It's Teacher Appreciation Week in America, and while we love the catered lunches, school swag, and handwritten notes, let's take a moment to appreciate teachers in a more substantial way. Here are three ways we can show our appreciation: 1. Adequately pay teachers for the enormous time they spend on the job, both in and out of the classroom. 2. Provide intentional, high-quality professional development opportunities that help teachers become even better at what they do. 3. Create a school environment that teachers love to work in. What else can we do to show our appreciation for teachers this week (and always)? Let us know in the comments. #TeacherAppreciationWeek #ThankATeacher

Expressing genuine gratitude spreads positivity not only for those receiving the gratitude, but for those giving it. Last year I started a "Preceptor Shout Out" program, where we invite students to recognize a preceptor who made a positive difference in their training experience. I have the privilege of creating a graphic and contacting the preceptor to share the words of recognition. The responses that I get back are so uplifting and confirm that sometimes a little word of thanks can go a long way. If you are working with partner organizations, consider creating a mechanism to recognize those partners. This could also work internally, too! https://lnkd.in/eHbGxDde

There is an over-arching narrative about missed learning opportunities and children needing to catch-up with learning and development from early years and beyond. Is this really the case for all children? Chloe Webster, early years practitioner and writer, explores this and other questions about the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic on children in the early years. #EYFS #TeamEC
