You know what I love about Monday mornings? I love the fresh prospect of good things for the coming week. I love my early morning coffee and that with each sip I can set the week's goals and intentions. And while I really believe that any moment can be a fresh start, there's something about Mondays that just feel REVITILSING. It's not like they are always fun. Sometimes weekends aren't restful, which makes for some super-sleepy Mondays. Sometimes your alarm doesn't go off, you realize you forgot to put your clothes in the dryer, or you spill your coffee before you get your first sip! But those things are just little nuisances. And even when the hiccups come, Mondays have the potential to be a grand, fresh start. So, with that being said, here are a few things we need to put on reset each Monday: ✅ Reset your Mind: Start the week with a positive and open mindset. Leave any negativity or self-doubt from the past behind. 🍏 Reset your Diet: Fuel your body with nourishing foods that give you energy and vitality. I HATE MORNINGS Ever feel like some people just have that magic touch when it comes to staying productive all day? Waking early in the morning all energetic and ready to hit down anything and anyone? I used to wonder how they did it cos I definitely hate waking up so early in the morning, until I discovered the power of a solid morning routine. Whether you're a morning person or a night owl, establishing a consistent routine can set a positive tone for the day. Trust me, it’s been a game-changer! Here's a peek into my morning: 1. Wake Up Early: I set an alarm to wake me up early enough to enjoy some quiet time before the world wakes up or waking up as the case may be. 2. Hydrate: First thing I do is drink a big glass of water. It really helps me feel awake and refreshed. Trust me a glass of water in the morning is like cool breeze to the entire body system. 3. Move a Little: A short walk or some stretching gets my blood flowing and sets a positive tone for the day. Get all the leftover sleep out of your eyes 😅 4. Healthy Breakfast: I make sure to eat something nutritious to keep my energy levels steady. Some people don't do breakfast and trust me that is wrong. How do you want to function properly without light healthy food in your system at least. 5. Plan the Day: I have this app where I plan my day everyday. I take a few minutes to type in or jot down my top priorities and goals. Keeps me coordinated. 6. I don't know but I prefer to eat first before I brush and shower. It may be different for some others but yeah, I brush and shower right after planning my day. These simple steps have made a huge difference for me. What about you?
