A relevant scientific #study by BCI - Filippo Naso, Alessandro Gandaglia, Robert Melder et al. - was published a few days ago on Frontiers in Bioscience-Landmark, which further validates the principle underlying BCI #technology for #implantable biological tissues. We are delighted to announce that Dr. Bruno Melica has joined the BCI family as a #Clinical and Scientific #Board Member. With his experience as Interventional #Cardiologist, he will add great #value to our team. Dr. #Melica completed his training in Interventional Cardiology at the University of Padua and is currently working at the #Cardiology Department of Vila Nova de Gaia Hospital in Portugal. His expertise includes #coronary and structural interventions, with a main interest in #transcatheter treatment of #valvular pathology. When Dr. #Melica came in contact with #BiocompatibilityInnovation (BCI), he realized the importance of such a revolutionary technology that could significantly increase the #lifespan of bioprosthetic heart valves. He chose to join the effort of BCI to enhance the development of #FACTA and ultimately improve the #health of his patients by optimizing prosthetic valve durability.
