🌟 “Partner Powered” is more than just a phrase at Social Venture Partners Seattle; it’s the core of their work. In Spring 2021, SVP Seattle took a groundbreaking step by adopting a new approach to philanthropy with a Reimagined Vision, steering towards using philanthropy as a tool for racial justice and equity advocacy. This new approach highlights the significance of co-creation, emphasizing the collaborative design of initiatives with Partners, the non-profit leaders SVP Seattle works alongside, and those dedicated to its mission. Follow the link below to learn how SVP Seattle turned this vision into a program making an impact. #SVPSeattle #ReimagineVision #AdvocacyProgram #philanthropy

🌍💖 Join Us in Honoring National Minority Donor Awareness Month! 💖🌍 This August, we unite to raise awareness about the critical need for organ, eye, and tissue donations in our multicultural communities. One Voice. One Vision. To heal and save lives. Did you know that over half of those waiting for life-saving transplants come from diverse backgrounds? Communities of color face unique challenges, and we must work together to combat misconceptions and encourage donation. Here’s why this matters: 🔹 African Americans represent 28.7% of transplant candidates but only 12.5% of organ donors. 🔹 Asian American & Pacific Islander communities are significantly impacted by liver disease, yet they account for just 3.3% of donors. 🔹 Native Americans face diabetes at higher rates, with fewer registered as donors than those in need of transplants. 🔹 LatinX individuals make up 20% of transplant waitlists, yet many are unaware of the support from the Catholic Church for organ donation. At Gift of Life, we believe that by sharing these truths and inspiring action, we can change lives. 💚 Be inspired. Understand the truth. Make a difference. 💚

Today, we recognize Juneteenth, which commemorates the day in 1865 when the final enslaved people in Galveston, Texas learned that they were free — more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation took effect. At C-Strategies, we’re proud to work with clients who work every day to advance racial equity in their communities and throughout our state through nonprofit work, policy and advocacy, mutual aid and more. According to conventional wisdom, male candidates raise more money than women because of wealthier networks, careers without breaks for caregiving, and greater perceived credibility with donors. But our analysis of June 30th fundraising reports shows that women legislative candidates - led by CTG Class of 2024 - held their own in the second quarter of the 2024 election cycle! Of the top 20 fundraisers for open state legislative seats… 50% are women 40% are women of color And 80% of the women are CTG Class of 2024 members!
