The BERETTA APX Centurion is a mid-size or concealed-size model from the APX series. It features a 15 1 (9mm) or 13 1 (.40 S&W) flush-fit magazine similar to the full-size variant. Compared with the APX Compact they differ in terms of the grip size. The Centurion is slightly longer and accepts flush-fit 15-round magazines, while the APX Compact fits 13-round magazines. The APX Centurion is designed for military and law enforcement users who need a smaller pistol but that covers the same characteristics as their duty pistols. Its removable serialized chassis, allows easy customization using interchangeable grip frame housings. The main characteristics of the APX are controllability and ergonomics. This shows in the low bore axis, ambidextrous slide catch, reversible magazine release, aggressive slide serrations, and a trigger that breaks at 6 lbs with a clear tactile and audible short reset.
