One of the questions I got from a potential candidate was 👆 "How long can I work at Gabler?" If the previous post was about NOW at Gabler, I want to share details about the #FUTURE@GABLER KOREA 📅 There are many important things. But I want to focus on two things : 1) #CareerProspects and 2) #BusinessProspects 🌞 1. #CareerProspects The company is not a family. Nobody will stay unless the employees see the benefits or reasons for staying at work. Of course, I want each crew to have an opportunity to take pride in work (Job satisfaction 😊 ), grow along your career journey (Career growth 🌳 ), and above all discover fun at work (Engagement 🕹 ). Why is it important to have fun and joy in work while the company is not a playground? All the employees may join the company for the same purpose yet have different views on how to carry out out work (#samebutdifferent). Conflicting opinions and views sometimes make people frustrated and not valued. Conflict resolution is one of the key leadership skills. But without having fun at work, you would not get engaged or motivated. That's the reason why you need to find your own way of discovering fun at work. I truly believe in the words 📣 of Dale Carnegie, saying “People rarely succeed unless they have fun in what they are doing.” 2. #BusinessProspects Just as people cannot live without eating, so a business cannot live without profits. To earn profits, we need to let each customer see the values 💡 in what we offer and place an order! 💳 This is something I want to do with you (future crews). 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗺.. 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿... 𝗠𝗲𝗴𝗮. 𝗦𝗲𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜 𝗱𝗶𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲? Last month, I wrote a post that went a little bit nuts... well ok, it went a bit more than nuts, and ended up on LinkedIn news. 😂 The post was all about how we have made the decision not to recruit grads into our entry level positions. A couple weeks later Megan Farrow also did a post that got wildly out of hand... 1M impressions and counting... about how the flexible approach we take working at co&co really helped her out when she needed it. 𝗪𝗲 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗺. ...And although I didn't know it at the time... the best recruitment tool ever. Cue Prim, who saw both of these posts and thought, 'I fancy a bit of that'. She took the chance to shoot her shot. 𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝘀𝗹𝗮𝗺 𝗱𝘂𝗻𝗸. 🏀 Out of the 41 people who DM'd or emailed me about coming to work at co&co, Prim is the only one I replied to. 𝗪𝗵𝘆? 👉 She took the time to look into the business. 👉 She demonstrated how she matched our culture. 👉 She was humble and owned the fact she had stuff to learn. 👉 She didn't act like she was doing me a favour by wanting a job. 👉 She was confident, enthusiastic and incredibly switched on when we met. 𝗢𝗵, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗺𝗲 𝗮 𝗯𝗮𝗱*𝘀𝘀 ✌️ So, here is Prim. The latest member of the co&co gang.
