What BofA doesn't tell you is that the imposter pretends to be a Bank of America fraud specialist. They have already hacked your bank account to get your phone number. They call you (with a bank number with a logo) and say there has been suspicious activity on your account. They tell you about a charge, you open your account and yes there is a fraud charge you did not approve. They then send you a text to your phone and they get further into hacking your bank account making it look like you approve of any charges that the hacker pretends to reverse. Bank of America will not help you or protect your account. I know from experience.
Don’t be rushed, stop and think before you initiate any funds transfers and do not allow anyone to access your online banking, desktop or mobile phone without being absolutely certain that they are trustworthy.
Thanks for these tips - always good to have prevention methods when scammers are so prevalent!
Greetings, I live in a very small town in Maryland, called Cambridge. Cambridge is the land that brought the world Harriet Tubman. I am interested in having BOA as a sponsor for an upcoming event and future events here to help the youth. Please get back to me.

3wThis bank is completely incompetent and does not follow its own rules. My checking account had 31 fraudulent Zelle withdrawals in one day totaling over $9600, then 8 Zelle withdrawals from my savings in one day, plus an unauthorized cash advance of $4000 on my credit card. Customer Service is useless and states that a random stranger was "allowed" to hack and scam my accounts. I am a 30 year customer at Bank of America...time to find a new bank I can trust.
