With Roughly Hindi films grossing ₹5300crores & English Films grossing ₹1200crores, this truly has been a phenomenal year. Now adding Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Punjabi, Marathi & Bengali cinema figures will showcase the mammoth market size India itself does have. I really believe to a fact that we Indians, need to compete with our own selves. Now our active theatre counts stands at 7000 & our population is 140 crores. Hence 1: 2,00,000 is the ratio. Let’s imagine the market size and potential. It’s humongous. In the next couple of years, we as an entity, need to focus at least on doubling of the number of Cinema Halls. With the kind of market potential we have across the nation, it won’t take much time for India to be the #GlobalSuperpower of World Cinema. Yes we can also produce films budgeted ₹2000-₹3000crores of much much much superior quality with Indian Technicians if the domestic market International Market does take a 3x jump resulting to #revenue #employment & #supremacy Keeping fingers crossed and a great time ahead.
