Today marks the official launch of the Robotics Institute Germany (RIG), a groundbreaking initiative aimed to position Germany at the forefront of AI-based robotics, advancing solutions for healthcare, manufacturing, and everyday life. The headquarters will be based in Munich, leveraging Bavaria’s strong expertise in robotics and AI, and connect partners from all over Germany to facilitate collaborative efforts.   We congratulate consortium leader, Angela Schoellig of Technical University of Munich and everyone involved in bringing this initiative to life. Best of luck to the entire RIG team - we look forward to seeing the upcoming advancements in robotics and AI!   #robotics #AI #RIG #innovation #baiosphere

We're excited to share that the Robotics Institute Germany (RIG) was officially announced at KIRO2024 last week!  🚀 RIG, funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), aims to become a hub of AI-powered robotics research in Germany. With contributions from ten universities, four non-university organizations, and 19 associated partners, we're set to build a strong, collaborative network over the coming years. Stay tuned for more updates and join us on this exciting journey!
