🤔The decision to choose your field of work is not always the easiest. There are people for whom passions cannot always turn into a successful career. 📌Many of them choose to experience several types of jobs and fields in order to establish their career path. This is one of the reasons why we have many colleagues who joined SG GSC to experience a field that is not necessarily very familiar to them - the financial area. 📣Among them is our colleague Stefania Sandu, Team Leader in the financial division. Her professional journey meant testing different roles within the Finance Shared Service Center. More details about her career of over 9 years within SG GSC, and also some tips for those curious to try a position in the financial area, can be found in the clip below. 👇 #SGGSC #Finance #NonFinanceBackground #SGGSCJobOpportunities

Maybank Student Maybank Mbassador 2024🐯 Bachelor's Degree in International Business (International Finance) with honours🎓
Maybank Student Ambassador 2024🐯 Interesting fact about myself 💫 My outstanding skills to recall roads and landmarks when traveling foreign areas is indicative of a highly developed sense of direction and memory, which allows me to confidently and easily lead others through unexpected territory. This talent helps people who depend on me for direction feel safe and trusted in addition to saving time and lowering stress during travel. My propensity to lend a helpful hand to others is a reflection of my deeply rooted kindness and empathy. My desire to help those in need, whether it be by helping with duties, giving advice, or just being there to listen, builds community ties and fosters a positive chain reaction of respect and goodwill. Microsoft Excel 💻 makes me excited and energized, which suggests that I have a strong interest in organizing, data analysis, and problem-solving. I think my interest in Excel comes from a combination of experience, interest, and a natural ability to deal with numbers and spreadsheets. Beyond simply preparing food 🍛, my passion for cooking and feeding families is about cultivating relationships and uniting people over the shared experience of a delicious meal. In addition to providing nutrition for the body, my recipes help families connect, communicate, and show gratitude for one another. It goes without saying that the gratitude and admiration I get from the people I serve, validate my efforts and strengthen my sense of accomplishment and meaning in helping others. I am, in essence, a truly extraordinary person who can leave a lasting and positive impression on everyone I come into contact with because of my unique combination of talents, interests, and values💥 Maybank #mbassador2024 #roaringcareers

🔆 I feel honoured and inspired in the same time to be part of the learning experience I’ve had last week with BNP Paribas Cardif Romania. And I must say that I was impressed with the level of curiosity and desire of knowledge I have found among the participants. For a trainer that would be the correspondent of a Christmas present – people willing to absorb information. What a joy! 🎁 With this occasion we’ve dived into the 𝐄𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 big arena. We’ve understood that EI is not an Excel file that you can close at 6 pm. You do take home all your emotions with you. And when you start to become more aware of that, that may very well be the starting point of your EI self-education. We’ve looked into aspects linked to EI, like: ➡️ How to and the importance of identifying our own emotions; ➡️ Self-regulation and emotional mobility; ➡️ Managing the relations with others; ➡️ Understanding contexts and dynamics on a group level. Our 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 influence our 𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 that will lead into certain 𝐛𝐞𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬. Further more, our behaviours will determine the 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐬 we are having. ➡️ And, even if we chose to look at this reason alone, Emotional Intelligence is an aspect that worths much more attention from our side. Although I am not necessary a big fan of quotes, I find inspiring the one below that underlines to the importance our emotions: “𝑊ℎ𝑒𝑛 𝑎𝑤𝑎𝑟𝑒𝑛𝑒𝑠𝑠 𝑖𝑠 𝑏𝑟𝑜𝑢𝑔ℎ𝑡 𝑡𝑜 𝑎𝑛 𝑒𝑚𝑜𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛, 𝑝𝑜𝑤𝑒𝑟 𝑖𝑠 𝑏𝑟𝑜𝑢𝑔ℎ𝑡 𝑡𝑜 𝑦𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑙𝑖𝑓𝑒.” — 𝑇𝑎𝑟𝑎 𝑀𝑒𝑦𝑒𝑟 𝑅𝑜𝑏𝑠𝑜𝑛 I need to mention that this program became possible with the support of @Evgenyia Petrova and Liviu PURCÃREA 🌱 ISB® Specialist, to whom I thank dearly. Last, but definitely not least, big thanks to Marcela Roman that was co-facilitator into this experience. #training #emotionalintelligence #thegoodquestion

3rd Year Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons) in Finance at Universiti Putra Malaysia | TESP Mara Scholar| Maybank Student Ambassador 2024 | Finance officer of The Kalsom Movement
[ 5️⃣#Mbassador Social Media Challenge5️⃣] Interesting fact about myself💭 Greetings, connections!👋🏻 I am Qaisara Najla, a third-year student majoring in Finance in the Bachelor of Business Administration program at Universiti Putra Malaysia. I am delighted to share some interesting facts about myself and look forward to connecting and getting to know each other better. ⏳Discipline I guarantee that I am a disciplined person because it is reflected in my daily routine habits. I feel anxious and uneasy if I am late or fail to meet deadlines. I will ensure to submit assignments before the deadlines and arrive early for programs or classes, barring any obstacles or inconveniences. 🙇♀️Self-determined I consider myself a strong-minded individual; if I want something, I will work hard to achieve it. I know what I want, and I will ensure to pursue it. I dislike being told what to do or how to be because this is my life, and I choose my own path. 📝Passionate about self-development My goal from last year was to learn new things, acquire new skills, and gain more knowledge and experience. I believe I have achieved this to some extent, but this year, I aspire for more, particularly in enhancing my communication and networking skills. 💭Forward-thinking From a negative perspective, I tend to overthink things. To counteract this, I will ensure to be well-prepared, creating checklists to ensure I don't overlook anything and always having backup plans in place in case Plan A doesn't work out. 🥳Outgoing personality I used to consider myself an introverted person before actively participating in university programs. Now, I see myself as more of an ambivert, leaning towards extroversion. I can blend in with anyone, but if you're close to me, I'll be the one cracking jokes and being outgoing. Thank you for taking the time to get to know me better. I look forward to embarking on this exciting journey together!🌱 Maybank #Mbassador2024 #RoaringCareers
