If you'll be at the American Water Works Association Water Infrastructure Conference 2023 in Philadelphia, our own Martha Nunez will be presenting "Info360 Asset: A SaaS Solution for Asset Condition Assessment, Risk Analysis, and Rehabilitation Planning". As water and wastewater infrastructure ages, the accessibility for more efficient asset repair, renewal, and replacement processes at utilities is critical. With the move towards digitization, Software as Service (SaaS) can be beneficial in many ways. Autodesk's asset management tool Info360 Asset provides user friendly tools for condition assessment, risk analysis, and rehabilitation planning on a GIS platform stored in AWS cloud servers. The goal of this presentation is to show an example of how utilities in the U.S. are using Info360 Asset to manage their day-to-day inspections, calculate risk of failure, and developing a rehabilitation plan for all pipes in their water and sewer systems. We all know that missing BIM data interoperability between design, construction and building operations is THE biggest stumbling block for true mass digitization in the AECO industry. The creators of BIM models spend hours, days and weeks in putting together their models, but often don`t find an easy way to communicate and transfer this knowledge pool to the next stage or get it checked and discussed with non-BIM experts in the early design phase. Contractors, Building Developers, Owners need more and better data access throughout the entire lifecycle of a building, as they need to make data-driven decision along the way.
