It was our favorite day of the year this week: Happy Candidate Experience Day! 🥳 And we're here to celebrate with a list of reasons why it's a game changer in recruitment: 1️⃣ Reputation is important and your Employer Brand speaks volumes about your company. Improving the Candidate Experience you provide is bound to boost how candidates and customers perceive you. 2️⃣ The way you treat your candidates is often an indication of the Employee Experience at your company. Great candidates who are treated badly during the recruitment process are likely to refuse if they're offered a job at a company that hasn't treated them with respect from the start. 3️⃣ At this point, we have seen countless studies showing the correlation between negative Candidate Experience and decreased customer loyalty (hint: just google "Candidate Experience Virgin Media" to read the one that started it all). Unhappy candidates are likely to develop resentment towards your brand, going as far as not purchasing your products and telling their family and friends to do the same. 4️⃣ We live in a world where word gets around faster than we think. Especially when it comes to negative experiences. People talk and prioritizing great Candidate Experience means that they will talk about your company positively, going as far as encouraging their friends and family to apply. Employee referrals often warrant more qualified and engaged new hires, so make sure you are being proactive by taking care of your candidates from the start. 5️⃣ Candidate Experience and Quality of Hire are more interlinked than you think. If you're struggling to attract the highly skilled talent you need, treating them badly during the recruitment process is not the way forward. Improving your Candidate Experience is one of the ways you can stay competitive and attractive to candidates you want to hire the most. These are just some of the reasons why you should start prioritizing Candidate Experience today. 🌟 We could go on and on forever, but if you want to know how to get started, check out our Ultimate Guide to Candidate Experience: https://lnkd.in/dJa9mbTV 🌟 #CandidateExperience #CandidateExperienceDay #EmployerBrand #QualityofHire

Clients ask us all of the time what makes CRG different, and why we are a more successful option than our competitors. How do we manage high offer acceptance rates? How do we ensure our clients spend less while ensuring a quicker fill? Candidate experience. The feedback we CONSTANTLY receive from our candidates centers around how we provide TOP-NOTCH candidate experience. Firstly, no recruiter at CRG is a "ghoster". When you interview, expect feedback and timely responses- not waiting endlessly for decisions or next steps. Second, CRG recruiters are not in the business of slinging resumes- we take the time to skill AND career match candidates to roles- ensuring skill fit and that the role aligns well for career growth and advancement. When a candidate receives career growth, competitive compensation, or whatever is truly important to them- they are inherently more likely to accept an offer. Third, CRG recruiters take the time to provide resume and interview prep- spending time to ensure candidates are well equipped for success in their pursuit of new opportunities- and this is where we stand apart- we provide skills that can be used to pursue any opportunity, not just focused around the role CRG is trying to fill. Lastly, we build genuine relationships with our candidates that in many cases last for years. Our contractors and placements are not just numbers. So, when clients ask why we are different, or how we produce better results, the answer is- our unparallel candidate experience. One of the biggest employment trends this year is candidate engagement. Although this has always been provided for C-suite positions, forward-thinking organisations are now proactively also engaging entry-position applicants. This is helping them gain an advantage to become employers of choice when applicants are deciding between several job offers. I spoke with a hiring organisation last week whose principal, near term recruitment challenge is ensuring that a sufficient % of all the candidates attracted to their open vacancies convert in to applicants via a 9 (nine) step process (just to reach the first selection/screening stage). That may just be a barrier too far when you consider that 60% of job seekers have quit an application because it took too long. PeopleScout's Career Site Diagnostic tool uses state-of-the-art analytics to evaluate an organization's career site against 40 candidate experience indicators and applies best practice solutions to meet candidate expectations and improve outcomes.
