I help businesses deliver a touchless customer experience that drives revenue growth, reduces the cost to serve and effortlessly scales with increasing demand.
Two weeks ago, my favorite stand-up comedian, Nate Bargatze, hosted 𝘚𝘢𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘥𝘢𝘺 𝘕𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘓𝘪𝘷𝘦. His trademark deadpan humor was on full display, especially in this sketch where he played General George Washington. While Washington was an accomplished leader, this skit made it seem like Bargatze's take would have made him a terrible Solution Engineer. 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗪𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗕𝗲 𝗮 𝗧𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿: 𝗡𝗮𝗺𝗲: George Washington, played by Nate Bargatze 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗵𝗲'𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺: SNL Skit from 10/28/23 𝗢𝗰𝗰𝘂𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: General of the Army 𝗙𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗮: https://lnkd.in/gQbrVqcF 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝗚𝗲𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗲 𝗪𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝗮 𝗧𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗦𝗘: 𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝗙𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 Bargatze's George Washington is excited about defeating the British so that he can have a new, free land. But the thing he cares most about is not freedom for all, but the unique measurement system that he will enforce. He doesn't want to adopt the metric system; he's completely focused on the unique way of measuring length and temperature that will alienate the Colonies from the rest of the world. While humorous, this is like every demo I've seen when an SE isn't engaged with the audience. They go on and on about features and functions that the prospect obviously doesn't care about. Much like the troops who are confused by Washington's vision, SEs get tunnel vision and only focus on what is important to them and their demo. The great SEs stop demos when they aren't getting enough engagement. They start off demos saying, "I have a demo flow, but I want to know what you are most interested in seeing today." So listen to your audience and focus on what interests them the most.

Good morning Chicago State University, This another day to do the right thing about Mr Bola Tinubu, you can’t jeopardize 200 millions lives because of your selfish interest. My questions and surprises are; how can one enrolled into your school as a Female, then graduate as a Male?, how can you gave out two different certificates for one course?. The Bola Tinubu that enrolled into your academic was a Female, wait, is that you people accept cash for grade or you sell someoyhaed earned certificates for highest bidder?. How much does Mr Bola Tinubu paid you guys that makes you think 200 millions Nigerian lives worth nothing, or is this how you run your #State, destroying another country to maintain yours?. I think if a child does well in his courses and the result comes out good; both student and school should be proud by making it known to boost their school against other school. #CSU, don’t compromise your standard because of one man, the world is watching. #AllEyesOnChicagoStateUniversity #AllEyesonTheJudiciary
