Atlas Translations | Translation Agency’s Post

This highlights grave concerns even BEFORE you factor language translation into the mix: "Artificial intelligence (AI) in healthcare is on the rise. Bodies including UK Governments, the National Institute for Health and Care Research, and the NHS AI Lab are all investing in developing and deploying the technology" The Patient Information forum's AI working group has produced the following position statement including Section 3: the risks presented by AI. https://lnkd.in/eTgsJBuV @patientinformationforum #medicaltranslations #artificalintelligence #healthinformation

Thank you for sharing the position statement, Atlas Translations | Translation Agency! I would add another risk to using AI in a health care setting: mistakes in information transmitted to patients or medical staff can have dire consequences. The 80 babies who died or came to serious harm between 2018 and 2022 in the UK alone are just one example.
