#MiloSays who can you reach out to? It’s not always easy to ask for help, especially during busy times like these. People don’t want to feel like they are being a burden but struggling alone shouldn’t be the answer! Many of us face challenges during the festive season, so why not reach out to the people closest to you and check in with them. Even if you can’t physically meet, a conversation can go a long way. Enjoy some quality time and support one another. If you’d like some more advice, listen to the latest episode of the Z to A of Life. https://lnkd.in/gthh2XF6 #MindsetMatters #MentalHealth

Yesterday, on a beautiful DC afternoon, I took a walk and listened to the Happiness Lab Podcast where Dr. Santos interviewed Dr. Rangan Chatterjee who wrote a book called, "Happy Mind, Happy Life - 10 Simple Ways to feel great everyday." As their interview continued, Dr. Chatterjee shared a simple, yet powerful exercise where you spend a few minutes imagining the end of your life and specifically your deathbed. While not the happiest topic, it does provide for an opportunity for reflection. So, picture yourself on your deathbed, as you think about the three things that you wish you had spent time on during your life. Then consider, your current life...What three habits do you need to do weekly to ensure that you get the ending you just described? Powerful, but simple practice to ensure you are living your life with the intended purpose. I highly encourage you to listen to the podcast as many more tips were shared. I also ordered to book to learn more. Looking forward to reading it. So, are you living your life in the way you wish you would have at the end? https://lnkd.in/e6wHJvMb
