ATI Project’s Post

On 17 October the first edition of Lubica Paper Summit will be held in Lucca, a unique event able to connect apparently different worlds with the intent of uniting them in the creation of the future of paper. The focus of the Summit will be Circular Economy and Creative Thinking; paper is not just a material, but a means to promote the circular economy thanks to its characteristics of versatility and sustainability. ATI Project will take part of the event with the intervention of Luca Ofria, of our Research & Development team, who will discuss the installation "Generative Circularity" together with materieunite. The installation, made entirely of cardboard, is an expression of the infinite possibilities of digital generative systems for the development of new circular design solutions. Generative Circularity 2.0, after the presentation at the Fuorisalone.it and Lucca Biennale Cartasia 2022, was also the theme of a Workshop held at the Master Material Balance Design. Thanks to this collaboration the installation will continue to represent the basis of further projects inspired by the idea of Generative Circularity. 🌟Partner Highlight! 🌟 💡 TESELA Materiales Innovación y Patrimonio is an innovative SME for applied research and technological development in Spain, whose field of activity is related to raw materials, construction materials and cultural heritage. 👉 As part of the #Herit4ages project, TESELA will evaluate the building materials of living labs to know the state of conservation of the building and the different pathologies that affect it. This will serve to make a first diagnosis of the behaviour and possible impact generated by the application developed in this project. These preliminary studies on the building will provide valuable information for the design and implementation of the solutions. Non-destructive techniques will be used, trying to intervene as little as possible on the building. 🔗 https://lnkd.in/egN-gP83

At FAKRO, we believe in development achieved through the cooperation of academics and industry. As a result of this belief, we have been cooperating with universities of technology for a long time. This year, we became a partner of the Advanced Hybrid Lightweight Materials and Technologies for Global Circular Economy conference organized by the Bialystok University of Technology. The event delved into cross-border cooperation, industry, research and development, advanced composite materials, lightweight materials, and the circular economy. Participants at the conference reflected on the enriching discussions, visionary presentations, and the crucial intersection of research and industry. The final day featured a dynamic Transfer Technology Panel, offering valuable insights and perspectives on effective collaboration strategies and the prerequisites for successful partnerships between industry and science. We are excited about the potential for sustainable innovation offered by the dialogue resulting from this event. Summary of the current project on green and digital transformation.

While designing this project it was clear to me that to maintain #European manufacturing sovereignty and competitiveness, it is of #strategic importance that current and future #manufacturing processes urgently incorporate innovative and active resiliency capabilities as part of their green, circular and digital transformations. The framework of the #NewEuropeanBauhaus (#NEB) is ideal for doing so gathering the full potential of cultural heritage, arts, science and creative industries as decentralised drivers.
