Armed Services YMCA San Diego’s Post

Armed Services YMCA San Diego is thankful for the many ways that U.S. Bank works to better the San Diego community - through meaningful partnership, committed volunteerism, and impactful grantmaking. We are proud recipients of a Community Possible grant. We look forward to working to improve financial literacy and growing workforce development within our military community with support from the U.S. Bank Foundation.

The U.S. Bank Community Possible program spans giving and employee engagement, and I’m thrilled to share two fantastic examples of how we support the communities we serve through both philanthropy and volunteerism. Among the 350 nonprofits receiving a total of $11.75 million in recent Community Possible grants from the U.S. Bank Foundation are the Girl Scouts of Colorado and Armed Services YMCA San Diego, which provide valuable programs to help boost financial literacy and workforce development in their communities. These organizations also enjoy working with U.S. Bank employees who give their time and talent as volunteers. Thanks to Erica Opstad, Karen Kervin, Enrique Meza, Marcia Romero, Amanda Gregory and many others at U.S. Bank who truly make #CommunityPossible.   https://lnkd.in/gkftabm2
