We caught up with Emily Millett to discuss the great news that we have once again been awarded a Platinum sustainability rating by EcoVadis, putting RS Group in the top 1% of the 100,000-plus companies assessed. This achievement is further heightened, as the criteria for attaining the platinum standard in 2023 have been even more rigorous than in previous years. EcoVadis is the world's most trusted business to business sustainability rating. The objective of their methodology is to measure the quality of a company’s sustainability management system through its policies, actions and results. The assessment focuses on 21 sustainability criteria that are grouped into four themes: environment, labor, and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. Andrea Barrett, our VP Social Responsibility and Sustainability said: “We are delighted to have attained the EcoVadis platinum medal for the second successive year and believe this is a reflection of our strong commitment to the implementation of our 2030 ESG action plan. “We are pleased with our progress but will not stand still. BBM was awarded a silver medal by EcoVadis for the second consecutive year 🥈 We’ve improved our sustainability rating from 60 points in 2022 to 68 points in 2023, narrowly missing out on gold medal status.
