In just one email, I was sent 22 job postings from LinkedIn that might have been of interest to me. Let me remind you that I live in Southern Niagara Region. Of them, three are ones I think I'd apply to based on my previous experience/job titles: 1) Hamilton - no specification 2) Caledon - remote 3) Toronto - hybrid remote Now of these three, I figured with their listings, I might be open to working for any of them. However, once looking into the ads: 1) Hamilton - work arrangement still not specified in the listing, but also still manageable for commuting 2) Caledon - actually hybrid, but no shot as it's not an actual administrative role 3) Toronto - on site 5 days a week downtown I've now been fortunate enough to weed out, of the 22 jobs LI sent me, a grand total of ONE job actually worthy of my time for which to submit a resume. Takeaways: 1) Recruiters - PLEASE list/post the jobs accordingly/properly 2) LinkedIn - PLEASE stop sending me jobs that: a) I'm not actually qualified for b) are outside of my parameters That is all.
