👏 More than 130 managers and experts from the automotive industry attended the ASAM Regional Meeting Japan yesterday, either online or on-site, to learn more about ASAM activities worldwide and in Japan in particular. At the meeting, the next steps for ASAM SCDL were presented, the ongoing ASAM OpenMATERIAL activities were outlined, and new project ideas were discussed (e.g. standardizing Coverage Test Results, and creating interfaces between ALM/PLM systems and ASAM ODS server implementations). What a great event in the past 2 days: The conference "Diagnose in mechatronischen Fahrzeugsystemen" in Dresden gave great insights into ASAM #SOVD applications. In addition, our colleague, Bernd Wenzel, and project leader Tobias Weidmann from Vector Informatik gave an sneak preview into new functionalities that will be released with ASAM SOVD V1.1.0. 🚀 ASAM is hosting an ideation workshop on "#ODD-based testing: A proof-of-concept (PoC) on #cyberphysical testbeds" to discuss how ASAM standards can be leveraged to enable ODD-based testing on cyber-physical testbeds. READ MORE: https://lnkd.in/dmJ4VmHd The workshop is co-hosted by IAMTS - International Alliance for Mobility Testing & Standardization ASAM and IAMTS have joined forces to promote the development of a standardized workflow for cyber-physical testing on testbeds. The goal of this workflow is to enable the mapping of test requirements from customers to the available features of proving grounds and the services of test service providers, thereby minimizing the overall number of tests required to ensure sufficient testing for homologation / type approval purposes. As part of this joint initiative, we would like to invite you to join this ideation workshop to discuss a potential new ASAM project. We propose to develop a Proof-of-Concept (PoC) to demonstrate how our standards can be leveraged to enable ODD-based testing on cyber-physical testbeds.
