Paulig Group’s 2023 Annual Report together with its Sustainability Report are out. Some of the highlights are: ✔ Paulig’s revenue increased by 5.6% to EUR 1,167.6 million and comparable EBITDA grew by 57.2% to EUR 137.2 million. 🌮☕ Paulig successfully launched 40 products. We entered a new, savoury snacking category, introduced new products within Asian cuisine and coffee, and expanded the portfolio with decaffeinated coffees. 🏢🏭 Paulig made strategic investments by opening an office in Vienna, Austria and a new pellet snacks line in Spain. 🌱 Paulig launched a unique Climate Fund that is allocated to annually selected projects targeting emission reductions in wheat and coffee value chains, logistics and Paulig’s own operations. At The Tofoo Co, over the last couple of years we have worked with ClimatePartner to go through the environmental impact of our business. We completed a review (scope 1-3) to understand our impact and help us focus on the changes we can make to reductions. I have been looking at the pub sector over the last couple of weeks and it’s clear to see sustainability is (rightly) a 🔥 topic. I was reading through BrewDog MEGA report 4 and I was impressed with the focus and improvements that they have made. Sustainability does not feel like a tick box either which sometimes can be the case. The report also allowed me to benchmark our market leading product against another from a different sector and it is great to see we are in good company if only a little less Punk #pub #hospitality #sustainability #foodservice #carbonreduction #plantbased #vegan
