Imperial Lighting’s upgrade of Rush University’s Armour Academic Center, which began in 2022, hit a snag when building occupants reported that the new LED lighting was just too bright. To resolve the issue, Imperial teamed up with fellow NALMCO member Avi-on Labs, Inc. to implement a controls solution that resolved the issue and qualified the project for additional rebates. Our team successfully dismantled a Saez TLS 65 10t tower crane from roof level 67, an impressive 228 meters high, using a derrick crane. The intricate operation required careful strategic planning, precise execution, and seamless teamwork from everyone involved.
