During whole January 2024, MAURICE Project teams from Główny Instytut Górnictwa - Państwowy Instytut Badawczy and Miasto Jaworzno have been meeting regularly working on next steps for pilot action implementation. Some aspects - discussed with architects - Marek Bystroń and Marcin Brataniec from eM4 Pracownia Architektury Brataniec (http://www.em4.pl/) were focused on the geological conditions of the chosen slope and potential foundation options for the structure at Ośrodek Edukacji Ekologiczno-Geologicznej GEOsfera. Othere steps focused on further involveemnt of relevant stakeholders.

🏙🤖🌌🚀🙌 #Megaprojects tackle #megatrends!!! 🙌🚀🌌🤖🏙 A megaproject is a central, strategic, large-scale building, technology or infrastructure project that involves comprehensive design and implementation. Of particular interest in the following overview are projects with a volume of > USD 10bn which are in an early stage of development. For the research work, we have used scouts to look for suitable megaprojects all around the world. In total, we present 50 megaprojects in the full report. There is a noticeably large number of megaprojects in Saudi Arabia and China, as well as ambitious space hotels, Mars and NewSpace projects. The EU has also seen major projects, such as Kings' Cross (UK), Canary Wharf (UK), Hafen City (GER), La Defense (FRANCE). At the moment, there are only a few megaprojects in the EU compared to China, the USA and the Middle East.
