We are so excited share that we've partnered with GXO Logistics, Inc., the world's largest pure-play contract logistics provider, to advance humanoid robots in the logistics industry! 🤝🤖📦 Together, we're launching a multi-phase R&D initiative to develop practical applications for Apollo in warehouse environments, tackling labor-intensive tasks, improving safety, and enhancing operational efficiency. This collaboration is a key milestone in our mission to build AI-powered humanoid robots that can perform real-world tasks, from item picking to case handling. Stay tuned as we work together to revolutionize the future of logistics! Learn more: https://lnkd.in/g7az2H3Z #apptronik #ai #humanoidrobot #robotics #automation #gxo

Sometime in the future possibly; would these particular robots be available for consumers to purchase? If these were to become abundant in homes, these will be selling like hotcakes. Incorporating these humanoid robots in a warehouse environment can be beneficial in terms of practicality. However. I believe warehouse workers will say, without a doubt, that these will take away their jobs. I think to counter that argument is to make these things available to aid and to help those workers (in their homes, or whatever) rather than trying to take their jobs away.

This is by far the coolest looking humanoid robot I've seen. I like the fact that it has an E-Stop button as well. Most others do not, which seems to be a pretty glaring oversight. It would be cool if you could toggle between power-saving mode (zero-moment walking) and presentation mode (natural walking) for different use cases. I imagine many people would be okay with the power inefficiencies of a natural gate for a short period from time to time. I can't wait to see these become industry standard among manufacturing!

For one box that robot puts down...a human can put two or three... If this is demoing production speed... They need to work on response time.

You got a point there Malik! This obsession with technology knows no bounds today. Bots cannot replace humans because it is not created in the image of God... Just a creative tool and should be used responsibly!

Thats cool, but is the speed in the video the normal speed of the robot? Im certainly not an expert, but if they took bigger steps, would it be better?
