#TransformationNation - Change Takes Time... I was moved by the post below this morning and brought to a place of remembrance. That of transformation strategies rooted in the 1990s-2000s taking root and impacting how teams work globally today.
I also paused a moment to both reflect and to say prayers for the many dear colleagues everywhere, who sacrificed so very much to lay critical tracks for today's headline.⚘️
Although the pace of change appears to have accelerated greatly since then, today's strategies for change and transformation remain the same.
Today's plans must also be inclusive of a long-term, short-term, and an iterative view of what's changing, no matter the location, type, or size of the change.
#TransformationNation, as a reminder, be prepared. It will take time to roll out change across regions, and cultures. Hats off to those who already have the capability and SMEs across regions to do so. 🎉
For those who's change initiatives are underway, shore-up your 2024 meetings to support your global strategy. Really go hard in this area. New AI tools and initiatives require more capability conversations.
👉🏽 First, seek to understand and to ensure clarity of the strategy across all levels, internally and externally.
👉🏽Visit each other early and often if you can. If not, really work hard at having good video meetings and more importantly, impactful follow-up conversations.
👉🏽Let go of minor differences that impede progress and encourage your teams to do the same.
👉🏽Insist on clear working norms across teams and hold each other accountable.
👉🏽Check egos at the door when meeting across teams. Everyone must feel like winners.
👉🏽Begin with the end in mind and remain focused on agenda items that progress the work being done together.
👉🏽Adopt a "how might we" mindset after hearing each other out.
👉🏽Have FUN together at work!!! Don't let distance be an obstacle.

India is fast becoming the epicenter for global leadership.
Global Capability Centers (GCCs) across India have seen a staggering 120X rise in global roles over the past decade. The country now boasts over 5,000 such senior positions steering decision making for their Global HQs.
“This transformation is due to the maturing capabilities of India’s centers of excellence and how technology has enabled deeper data-driven customer insights,” notes Pari Natarajan CEO of Zinnov in today's The Times Of India feature.
Key to this seismic shift is a rich talent pool of digital, engineering, and leadership skills. As global companies concentrate more critical responsibilities in India across R&D, services, and customer-facing functions, they are also elevating leaders in the country to drive organization-wide strategy.
We believe that India is aggressively staking its claim as a global hub for innovation, talent, and leadership. We expect the rise to continue as India cements its status as the epicenter of global leadership.
