This a great opportunity to engage fleet drivers and understand why they may feel the need to speed when traveling for work. 🚗 Might it be habitual, driving like they're in their own vehicle 🛣 Might it be poorly planned routes 📦 Might it be the pressure of too many drops/visits scheduled 🕑 Might it be the pressure of ill-informed ETA's Whatever the reason, let's take this opportunity to understand, help & support. If you'd like to learn more about Optimize safety features, including: 📉 Least risk routing 🔄 Machine learning ⏰ Accurate ETA and communications module 🎯 Accurate routing and achievable duty cycles Say hello at https://lnkd.in/eGmHtnc8 #brakeroadsafetyweek #speeding #fleet #transport #logistics #roadsafety #roadsafetyweek #roadtransport #charity #driversafety #optimisation

🌊 What life is like on a ship in the North Sea. I wouldn't last a day! ⚓ This looks absolutely miserable. Apparently you get used to the pitching and rolling. But if you have motion sickness this is not for you. The weird thing is you have to get used to solid ground when you go ashore, and for the first few days home, when you close your eyes, you feel like you're rocking. It's the opposite. It's why Captain Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean walks weirdly when he's on land. It's his sea legs! What do you think? Would you be up for a job like this? Or even a trip? #Travel #Maritime #Job

Are you steering your organization towards its own iceberg? The Titanic sank in the early morning hours of 15 April 1912 in the North Atlantic Ocean, only four days into her maiden voyage from Southampton to New York City. There were many events that led to this 'unsinkable' ship going underwater, and many of them were human mistakes. What are 5 reasons why the Titanic sank, and what can we learn from it? 1. The ship was going too fast: Captain Edward J. Smith aimed to better the crossing time of the Olympic, the Titanic's older sibling. He chose to sail full speed ahead despite warnings about icebergs. ↳ Lesson learned: There's no need to be faster or more innovative than your competitors if you don't reach your destination. Stick to your purpose and use that as your reference point rather than focusing solely on what competitors are doing. 2. Lookouts had no binoculars: Second Officer David Blair, who held the key to the Titanic’s binocular storage, was transferred off the ship and forgot to hand over the key to his replacement. ↳ Lesson learned: Ensure smooth handovers and clear communication during transitions. A minor oversight can lead to major consequences. 3. Unfamiliar Crew: Most of the crew were not trained sailors. They were primarily engineers, firemen, stokers, stewards, and galley staff. Only about five per cent of the crew were seamen and watch officers, and many hadn't had the chance to familiarize themselves with the ship. ↳ Lesson learned: Ensure that your team is prepared and capable of fulfilling its purpose. If there are gaps in skills or knowledge, invest in training. 4. Dismissed key iceberg warnings: Wireless operators were employees of Marconi's Wireless Telegraph Company and not members of the ship's crew. They prioritized passenger messages over weather reports. The last iceberg warning was met with, "Shut up, shut up! I am busy!" Ten minutes later, the Titanic collided with the iceberg. ↳ Lesson learned: Ensure all team members understand and prioritize the strategic goals of the organization over routine tasks. 5. No lifeboat training: Captain Smith cancelled a scheduled lifeboat drill the morning before the tragedy. As a result, in the ensuing chaos, 20 lifeboats left the sinking ship with 400 empty seats. ↳ Lesson learned: If you have an established process in your organization, execute it consistently until you assess and decide to modify or cancel it. P.S. The Titanic sank due to many reasons, including weather, ship design, and crew mistakes. But thinking it couldn't sink was the biggest mistake. Don't let your organization make the same error. ________________ ❗ 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗺𝗲: ⭐️ You have ambitious goals ⭐️ Your organization is from 100 to 900 people ⭐️ You want to triple your performance without growing your headcount ✅ Book a call with Daria Rudnik 🔗 Connect with me for insights on creating high-performing teams

I don't know if it's a mid-life crisis. But turning 39 at Palm Beach made me realize what I have to stop doing before time runs out. Knowing that you can’t work with everybody I thought the 3P framework would help me filter the things I would say yes to in business. Passion. People. Profit. As long as it passed 2 of the 3 P’s, it’d say yes. But boy was that wrong! Now I realize, that People matter most. Because both Passion and Profit don’t work if the people are wrong. If you’re looking for good people to connect with in the industry here are a few of my favorite people from the Palm Beach Boat Show. Kelsey Nemeth Harry Casimir Andrea Tagliaferro Kelly Gordon Laura Kerbyson Lou De New David Carlile Alex G. Clarke Ken Clinton Kim Sweers (Boat Boss) Patrick Mercurio CENTOUNONAVI Shipyard Brad Curtin I’d like to thank all those whom I ran into at the boat show! You guys are the heart of the boating community! 🌎🙌 Rogue - Marine Business Advisors #RideTheWaveAndCrushYourCompetition #RogueMarineAdvisors #PalmBeachBoatShow #PBIBS #DigitalMarketingStrategist #BoatShow #NavigateDigitalMarketing

Recon & Sniper Foundation Rule 4- THERE ARE NO LIMITS: Push yourself at everything....every time as hard as you can...then push some more. Never quit. If special operations taught me one thing is that there are NO limits. I don’t believe in them and neither should you. The only people who have limits are those who believe in their own inadequacy more than in themselves. Believe in You. You are always more powerful than you know. Limits are the language of excuse-makers and quitters. Never learn to speak it. Fuck limits. Dare to dream big and remember that nothing is out of reach. NEVER take no for an answer. Think creatively, there is always a solution and always a way of getting what you want. Nothing is truly impossible. Remember the sweetest fruit is always out on a limb...reach for it.
