𝗔 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗺 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗽 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗢𝗶𝗹, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘁 𝗚𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗲-𝗦𝗮𝗹𝘁. Why is it so crucial? The pre-salt, which began operations 15 years ago, 𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝟳𝟴% 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘀' 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 and over one-third of Latin America's production. With 2.06 million barrels of oil equivalent per day produced in the 2nd quarter of this year, 𝗶𝘁 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗠𝗲𝘅𝗶𝗰𝗼, 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗲. Out of Petrobras' 57 platforms, 𝟯𝟭 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗲-𝘀𝗮𝗹𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻 and produce some of the most decarbonized oil in the world. Over the last 15 years, it has become one of the most competitive frontiers in the global oil industry. In 2023, it 𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗮 𝗰𝘂𝗺𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝟱.𝟱 𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗯𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗹𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝗶𝗹. Pride and joy are evident in the celebration of Petrobras' anniversary and 𝟭𝟱 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗲-𝘀𝗮𝗹𝘁. A success story unparalleled in the industry! The production has driven significant contributions to Brazilian society. Between 2008 and June 2023, Petrobras paid approximately $𝟲𝟯 𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗴𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗿𝗼𝘆𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀, in addition to another $63 billion for exploration rights. What a journey!
