Wow, the USPTO is seeking self-starters "to harness the power of innovation." Not sure USPTO employees are authorized to "harness" the power of the inventors' innovations. From Collins Dictionary, harnessing something means bringing it under your control and using it. Other meanings include exploiting the potential, seizing the opportunity, and take advantage of the potential. It's Career Fair week! The Super Bowl event in the land of Talent Acquisition. I have curated many career fairs, but none with this much anticipation. With over 1200 registrations, this year is shaping up to be the biggest one yet! How exciting? Very! I made a promise. As an SME in this industry, I teach that the candidate experience is oftentimes indicative of the employee experience. In other words, as my father used to tell me, "how they are when they date you is how they will be when they marry you. Choose wisely." Choose wisely. Court intentionally. Engage properly.
