Our recent research highlighted distinct viewpoints between Anthropists, who have adopted a more longer-term perspective, and the general public, where the issues raised show a need for more immediate actions. When asked, 'What do you see as the single most important issue facing the UK today?' 32% of Anthropists identified it as pollution, the environment and climate change. However, when the same question was posed to citizens, the public research showed the main concern to be inflation and prices. Anthropy UK encourages leaders to think about the longer term future of the UK, and to consider solutions that require collaboration and agreement among multiple stakeholders, even if success requires more time. Likewise, at Anthropy, we recognise that the priorities of the general public are of a more immediate nature, with a focus on the economic and social issues which impact daily lives. We are therefore determined to facilitate these priorities into our ongoing activities and the agenda for the next national gathering in March 2025. Reconnecting with intuitive knowledge for systemic change

Otto Scharmer recently wrote that “The number one problem facing humanity today is not climate change or inequality or war… Rather, it is our sense that we are powerless to change any of it.” Tackling the root causes of this sense of powerlessness, amongst citizens and leaders alike, might be a good focus for Anthropy 2025. I have plenty of ideas I am happy to share 😊
