Check out our recently published case study on how The South Carolina Democratic Party leverages Clipbook to enhance its communications and political strategy. Through Clipbook's technology and custom media intelligence reports, campaigns, government offices, and firms save hundreds of hours of manual effort that can be reinvested into generative communications work and voter outreach. (Thank you for your partnership, Jay Parmley).
Want to track politics like the pros? It’s not always easy. The South Carolina Democratic Party is one of the most critical political organizations in the United States. Large, smart, and professional staff. Salient and diverse political geography. And now first state in the country in the Presidential Primary. But like many high-performing orgs, it faced a common problem in politics, policy, and communications: how do you cut through the noise and monitor the political landscape efficiently - without missing what matters? The SCDP turned to Clipbook, which has saved the Committee *100’s* of hours of manual effort, increased efficiency, and generated a seamless and comprehensive monitoring program. How did they do it? Read more in our recently-published case study (link in comments) (Special thanks to Jay Parmley for the collaboration!)

I am thrilled to announce the publication of my recent research article, "The Effect of Media on Human Perception of Violence" in the second edition of the Penn State Public Policy Journal. This work discusses how media exposure, especially violent content, shapes our perceptions and behaviors, despite living in one of the most peaceful eras in human history. This research also aims to provide policy strategies to address this public problem and reduce the effects of violent media. I invite all my connections to read my article and reflect on how media consumption may shape our view of the world. Please also feel free to check out other the other interesting articles published by my peers in this journal: https://lnkd.in/ea9ENSzj.

This year - this month, I believe - Policy Lab turns 10! The article below shares some of the highlights, with fantastic photos from over the years. We have increasingly focused on how we mainstream our work and bring it to the 30,000 people of the Policy Profession. But we also continue to seek out 'next practice' and that involves harnessing the talents of incredibly diverse, creative and unusual people towards the end goals of improving policymaking and better outcomes for citizens... watch this space!
Policy Lab is turning 10! In our new blog we reflect on: 10 years of dedicated work to bring the best of innovation, experimentation, and alternative methods to policymaking; 10 years of listening to, learning from and collaborating with thousands of members of the public to bring their voices and experiences into policy development; and, 10 years of running a multidisciplinary, cost-recovery unit at the heart of government. Read the blog and look out for dedicated 10th Anniversary content on blog and social media: https://lnkd.in/eJfNKh46

At RCG, we ensure California's government and public affairs sectors are not just seen but understood. Let's break down strategic communication. 📢 What it IS: 🔻 Purposeful Messaging: It's about messages that align with goals. 🎯 🔻 Understanding the Landscape: Navigating CA's political shifts. 🔻 Tailored Approaches: Recognizing client & audience nuances to craft unique strategies. 📊 What it ISN'T: 🚫 Generic Outreach: No one-size-fits-all messaging. 🚫 Empty Words: Substance over volume. 🚫 Reactive Stances: We prioritize proactivity. #strategiccommunication #politics #messaging #strategies #publicaffairs #governmentrelations #proactivecommunication #rcgcommunications #government #meaningfuloutreach
