It also includes discussion of suicide.* Thanks to Sophia Kleanthous for having the bravery to share their story. #HospitalsNotPrisons We have met with a variety of stakeholders to careful construct the five point policy plan below: 1. Reform of the Mental Health Act as legislative priority. 2. Increase in capita spending to hospitals to address urgent structural work needed on the wards. 3. Actively recruit and retain more Mental Health Staff wards to support the incredible work of our practitioners. 4. Ensure patients have holistic triage on admission with a mandatory ‘Safety plan’ on return to the community with emphasis on patient co-production. 5.
