😮 Check out these awesome Esports Championship rings for the students competing in the United States Academic Esports League. Interested in getting one of your own??? It's easy! Here is what you need to do... 1. Gather a squad of enthusiastic gamers (bonus points if they can actually agree on one game to play as a team). 2. Bring the USAEL to your school and become the champion of academic esports (capeless heroes welcome). 3. Develop soft skills like leadership, teamwork, perseverance, and more – because gaming isn’t just about button mashing! 4. Dive into USAEL's curriculum to explore careers in broadcasting, business, and coding, all through the epic lens of esports (because who said learning shouldn't be fun?). 5. Improve critical thinking and strategic planning skills by analyzing game mechanics and developing winning strategies (who knew all those hours of playing could pay off?). 6. Enhance communication skills as students coordinate with teammates and present their ideas clearly (yes, those lunch-table strategy sessions do count). 7. Foster a sense of community and belonging among students as they work together towards a common goal (because nothing says friendship like a well-coordinated team combo). 8. Encourage healthy competition and sportsmanship, teaching students how to win gracefully and lose with dignity (rage quitters need not apply). 9. Prepare and compete in United States Academic Esports League's Fall or Spring season competition. Reach the finals for a chance to win one of these coveted Academic Esports Championship rings. It's that easy! 😁 #academicesports Dr. Katrina Adkins Alan Sitomer Richard Conti Benjamin O'Gradney Anji Ison Jill Ranucci

A great opportunity to connect with College Esports News to talk about their growing organization and challenge my collegiate esports knowledge! I will need to be more familiar with team logos moving forward, but this also goes to show how collegiate esports teams are taking this unique opportunity to create memorable logos and identities! One of my key highlights attending Dream Hack ATL this past December learning more about the growing videogaming and esports industry! #videogaming #esports #collegiateesports #dreamhack
We asked DreamHack Atlanta attendees to guess which college esports logo is correct... Can you get them all right ⁉️

Well said Ray K.W. Ng 👏🏻 As esports continues to gain momentum and getting into medal-placing regional/ international competitions, there’s a strong case for this set of world-class talents to be called athletes in their own right and not dismissively labelled as a gamer, pro player or keyboard maestro. Esports in its own is a discipline, similar to ball sports, aquatic/ paddle sports, racket sports, marker sports, etc. The basic classification of athletes is by skill, power, mixed and endurance - with the world’s best athletes competing on the global stage to showcase their understanding, application and mastery of respective sport. Esports is no different and as like you - I’m excited and looking forward to the growth in this space.
What does the future hold?🧐 Hear out Ray K.W. Ng, as he defines where we are headed and what we lack to get closer to Esports Perfection!☑️ #IESF #WES23 #WorldEsports
