A couple of nanny myth busters here... Myth 1. Nannies are just glorified Babysitters. Well let’s bust this myth right away. There’s nothing a nanny dislikes more than someone calling them a babysitter!! 🙄 A babysitter is a casual relationship with a family and someone who only helps the family out a few hours a month and mostly when the children are sleeping. A family often has a couple of babysitters that they use for those oh so rare date nights. Nannies are qualified professionals with a chosen career path, who have either had an education in childcare development or have chosen a more formal route through a nannying college such as Norland or Chiltern Nannies. They are dedicated to the family that they work for, often working long hours and becoming a valued member of the family. The expectations of a nanny differ to a babysitter. A nanny will care for the children physically, socially and emotionally. They also help with the running of the family home and support with homework. They are a key role model and nurture the children in their care. Myth two. Men Can’t be Nannies. We are currently seeing more men choosing a career in nannying, and its so refreshing to see gender stereotypes challenged within the childcare sector. What a great example and role model for your children, teaching them that any gender can do any job. I'm looking forward to the number of male nannies rise in the future. I'll be back to bust some more of those myths soon. #nanny #nannyjobs

Why It's a Great Idea to Have a Summer Nanny? Summer is a season filled with fun and relaxation, but for parents, it can also be a time of juggling schedules and finding ways to keep kids engaged. Here’s why hiring a summer nanny can be a fantastic solution: Consistent Care: Unlike sporadic babysitters or daycare schedules, a summer nanny provides consistent, reliable care. This ensures your children have a familiar face and routine every day, which is comforting and stabilizing for them. Flexible Scheduling: Summer nannies can offer flexible hours that fit your family's specific needs, whether it's early mornings, late evenings, or weekends. This flexibility can be a lifesaver for working parents or those with irregular schedules. Personalized Attention: With a dedicated nanny, your children receive one-on-one attention tailored to their interests and needs. This personalized care can enhance their development and provide them with more enriching experiences than they might get in a group setting. #SummerNanny #ConsistentCare #ReliableChildcare #FlexibleScheduling #PersonalizedAttention #SummerChildcare #NannyBenefits #WorkingParents #ChildDevelopment #ParentingSolutions #SummerFunForKids #HappyParents #EngagedKids #FamilySupport

👶💼 Balancing Motherhood and Real Estate The most challenging phase of my career was when I became a new mom and didn't have full-time childcare. I had to squeeze work into nap times, take my newborn to open houses, and commit to making it work. The commitment was simple: "If I have to bring my baby with me, then I have to bring my baby with me." This experience taught me invaluable lessons in prioritization. I learned to assess my day, focusing on the two dedicated work chunks when I could be fully immersed and undistracted. It's these lessons that helped me succeed in real estate while caring for my little ones. 👶🏡 #Mompreneur #RealEstateLife #Prioritization
