We're proud to see our Co-Founders Laura and John Arnold recognized for their innovative approach to philanthropic giving by The Chronicle of Philanthropy for their annual list, 'The Philanthropy 50,' which ranks the top charitable donors in the US.   After starting their foundation nearly 15 years ago, the Arnolds remain invested in creating tangible change in the world. They seek out opportunities that have been overlooked by #philanthropy, aiming to test innovative evidence-based solutions that pave the way for lasting impact.   “Sometimes you may not achieve the policy objective that you are aspiring to in a certain legislative session. But does that mean you fail? Maybe not. 1%. That’s a drop in the ocean, right? A recent analysis of corporate philanthropy in Australia, Strive Philanthropy’s GivingLarge report, revealed “the top 50 companies [contributed] an overall 0.79% of their profits” in 2023. These are our biggest and best corporate givers. As a nation, we’ve still got a long way to go. At a macro level, I hope that the Productivity Commission’s soon-to-be-released philanthropy inquiry report will be a catalyst for the policy changes needed.
