As we wrap the Ohio Association of Community Health Centers's annual conference, we’re left with many important themes to carry us through the year. A few that stood out were thinking of Partnership with a capital P, approaching the future creatively, and considering what we need to do now to shape healthcare 5 to 10 years from now – all of which are philosophies we share. We focus daily on innovating for the future so collectively we can remove barriers to care and help patients access specialty care and specialty pharmacy directly at their point of need. Thanks to OACHC for an impactful annual conference!

Our patients’ accomplishments are HUGE, and we want the world to know. 🌎 Keith has completely re-written his future with the support of his AndHealth care team. Psoriatic Arthritis had once made it difficult for him to work or even hold a cup of coffee. Now, Keith has reclaimed his health and said, “My health is tremendously better. I’d say my condition has improved by 80%. I can walk up and down stairs without my knees hurting, my hands don’t hurt, I sleep better, and overall, I just feel better. Everyone should have access to care like this!” Learn more about Keith’s journey: https://lnkd.in/gaD9KquD #wholepersonspecialtycare #CHCs #psoriaticarthritis #rheumatology

1 in 3 Americans need a CHC. As the nation’s largest primary care network, CHCs are uniquely positioned to provide critical services in a community setting while addressing the Social Drivers of Health that can dramatically impact outcomes. The innovation, resiliency, and passion of CHCs has enabled them to provide high quality care to 30 million Americans nationwide, and yet there are 70 million Americans that still need our help. In the words of Kyu Rhee, MD, MPP, CEO of National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC), “Health centers are the best part of the healthcare system, but we can no longer be the best kept secret. We need to be bold.” It was inspiring to spend time with Dr. Rhee this week. As keynote speaker at Ohio Association of Community Health Centers’s annual conference, Dr. Rhee encouraged Ohio’s CHCs to think-forward and seek out ways to grow and expand their mission. He encouraged a boldness that comes by knowing your value to your community and to the healthcare system at large. His words reinforced our own passion in our mission to help CHCs become an even bigger and more integrated part of our healthcare system by offering in-house specialty care and specialty pharmacy to radically improve access and outcomes for patients. Let’s be bold together. #CHC #CommunityHealthcare #FQHC #SDOH #LiveAND
