I am profoundly proud of the Global Semiconductor Alliance GSA Women's Leadership Initiative recently launched #Allyship Program. This program acknowledges the vital role men play in supporting women's growth and development within the semiconductor industry.   In an industry where innovation drives success and we are constantly talking about the talent shortage we must put in an effort to better support female innovators and pave a path for their leadership. The Allyship Program is designed to highlight and celebrate the male leaders who actively advocate for women --while they are not in the room.   This initiative isn’t just about recognizing past efforts—it's about encouraging ongoing support and collaboration. Despite technological advances, there is still a wide gender gap in the STEM disciplines (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) that becomes a high priority issue to address in companies and society in general. Representation matters. That’s a fact! Before looking for representation outside of yourself, it is a good idea to find it in a very private space. In your own mirror. You see, you need to make sure that you are using the cues and clues that you have learned in your life through the socialization process, that represent power, competence, and influence so you can feed your brain with the right food for thought, feelings, and actions.
