THE POWER OF SOLIDARITY Currently, there is a lot of talk about the power of empathy. It is, in fact, important for our society. Practicing solidarity is having empathy to the core. Thus, the person or community feels compelled to act in situations of calamity, be it social, political or environmental. Therefore, it is important that solidarity is stimulated in people from an early age. After all, they can become adults who are more aware of their role in society. Ways to exercise solidarity in practice Remember that we are all equal Listen to what the other person has to say Take a closer look Share your gift Be genuine Your support can come in a variety of ways, "like" our posts, make a small "comment" on our posts, in addition to being able to "share" our message on your social network, this helps a lot to improve and expand our engagement. We don't have enough resources like other large organizations but that's no reason to stop trying. Any help makes a difference! Be the change the world needs! "For a world without borders" by. Fostering Peace Within Our Borders. It's so important to prioritize peace within our borders, because when there's harmony and understanding among people, it leads to a stronger and more united community. When we focus on fostering peace, we're able to resolve conflicts in a peaceful manner rather than resorting to violence or aggression. It's about listening to each other, respecting diverse opinions, and finding common ground. By standing together in solidarity and promoting non-violence, we can create a safer and more inclusive society for everyone. Let's spread kindness, empathy, and compassion within our borders so that we can build a world where peace prevails over conflict. #peacewithinborders #unity #harmony 🇿🇼🇿🇼🇿🇼🇿🇼🇿🇼🇿🇼🇿🇼🇿🇼🇿🇼🇿🇼

As the days pass, this is becoming more relevant. Most people have a gross misunderstanding of Native agendas... and most go by anecdotcal racial bias from generalized viewpoints that tend to scapegoat us for their problems, when it is in fact injustices created by those in government that do not represent the people. I firmly believe we must understand what makes us enemies, set aside our differences and understand each other culturally in order to become allies in this great nation. It is with that sentiment, I re-posted this, even though I am not convinced these talks in D.C. is going to amount to actual soveriegnty for our people, just more talk and less action.
The Native Americans in Philanthropy team is energized coming out of the @thewhitehouse Tribal Nations Summit in Washington D.C. Over the past two days, White House officials, Tribal leaders, and important changemakers met to align on priorities and policies that uplift Tribal sovereignty. A major announcement—an executive order to create the next era of self-determination—was signed. This order affirms that Tribal governments have autonomy over how they use their funding to achieve economic, political, and cultural well-being of their people. The conference allowed for meaningful conversations and encouraged strengthening of Nation-to-Nation relationships by fostering authentic connections, creating policies that allow the United States and Tribal Nations to continue learning from each other, and building on increased momentum from this year. Our team is grateful to our funding partners for joining us to speak about their great investments in our public-private work with Tribal leaders and the broader work happening in Tribal communities. #WhiteHouseTribalNationsSummit #TribalNationsSummit #Philanthropy #NativePhilanthropy #WeAreIndigenous #NativeVoices #NativeAmerican #Native #Indigenous #NativeLed
