In 1927, at the International Milan Decorative Art Biennale, Fortunato Depero designed the "Book Pavilion" using concrete letters. The towering letter-shaped columns and reliefs on the exterior walls and roof stood out prominently. In 1931, Fortunato Depero proposed a similar design concept for his client, Campari. Although this concept was not realized, his sketches displayed the commercial significance of a monumental style. Monumentalism can create a sense of solemnity. This grave effect can be mimicked on paper or screens, and can also be used as a means of expression in exhibitions, performances, or stage designs. - #design #theory
