Ensuring the availability of essential medicines in Kenya requires a reliable and transparent #health supply chain. Afya Uwazi, which means "transparency in health" in Swahili, is a five-year AIR and USAID initiative that monitors supply chains from central warehouses to health facilities in remote areas. We work with pharmacy staff, nurses, and health facility managers to ensure that medicine and medical supplies arrive intact and in a timely manner, ready to be distributed to the people who need them. https://lnkd.in/g8XfA_8j

A group of researchers, activists, donors, and policymakers including AIR's Jessie Pinchoff, have come together to outline a new research agenda that aims to protect children's education in the face of a deepening climate crisis. The agenda focuses on the effects of climate change on students' learning and well being, and proposes increasing the evidence base around the use of education as a powerful tool for climate action.
