Isn't it tragic how toxic management shatters employee well-being and productivity? Feeling the weight of work overload? It's not just the tasks; it's the atmosphere. Having a manager who lacks empathy and communicates rudely can turn a job into a daily battle. 😔 When leadership fails to value #EmployeeWellBeing and #MentalHealth, it creates a toxic environment that damages morale. Many find themselves at a crossroads: leave or endure. Organizations driven solely by numbers are ignoring the human cost. This relentless pressure is leading to #StressRelatedInjuries. The number game is literally making employees sick. It's time we prioritized people over profits. 🧘♂️ #WorkLifeBalance #LeadershipMatters #HealthyWorkplace #EmployeeEngagement #WellBeingAtWork #MentalHealthAwareness

As an employee, have you ever wondered what makes you invaluable to your organization? According to billionaire entrepreneur and 'Shark Tank' co-host Mark Cuban, being smart and driven is just the beginning. In fact, there's one other habit that makes an employee genuinely irreplaceable: reducing the stress of their manager. In a recent article, Cuban emphasized the importance of reducing stress in the workplace. As an employee, taking the initiative to make your manager's job easier can go a long way in showing your value to the organization. By doing so, you not only increase your own job security, but you also contribute to a more positive and productive work environment. So, take a step back and evaluate how you can reduce stress in your workplace. Is there a task that you can take off your manager's plate? Can you offer to help a colleague with a project? Small actions like these can make a big difference in the eyes of your employer. Remember, being smart and driven is important, but reducing stress may just be the secret to becoming an invaluable employee.

Consider a scenario where an employee is suddenly transferred from a long-term project to a completely new and unfamiliar task and that too, without any support. The result: Shift Shock! In a survey done by The Muse, it was found that 72% of more than 2,500 respondents had experienced shift shock. Changes in business are inevitable but shift shock isn’t. It is imperative for HRs to regularly take feedback from employees, monitor their productivity levels and conduct surveys to identify and address the signs of shift shock. Here’s how an HR can help employees avoid the issue: Preliminary Employee Feedback Before introducing any major change(s), seek your employees’ feedback. This helps in understanding their concerns. Inclusivity & Collaboration Engage your employees in the decision-making process. This brings a sense of ownership and contribution. Transparency Inform the employees about the objectives of the change(s), the reasons behind them, the expected outcomes and the estimated timeline. Resources & Support Offer relevant resources and support ahead of the change(s) for a smooth transition. Training sessions can also be provided if needed. Mentor and counsel them for better navigation and adaptability. Source: https://lnkd.in/gD45SpBb #mancer #mancerconsulting #shiftshock #changemanagement #employeewellbeing #mentalhealth #wellbeing
