Some cause for optimism in Janice Turner’s column on what really happens to our recycling. Janice asks to what extent businesses should be responsible for making their products recyclable. Pringles is singled out for the non-recyclable nature of those tubes. Should we boycott until they change? Like Janice, I’m encouraged to take more care over what goes in my bin after reading this. #recycling #sustainablebusiness #circulareconomy https://lnkd.in/edFSZ_3e

Are you puzzled by Recycling? We are with you! That’s why we are proud to lead the Recycle Right New York (RRNY) campaign! RRNY is an outreach and education campaign that works to increase participation and decrease contamination in the recycling stream. Through RRNY’s interactive digital tools, such as the Recyclopedia and the find your local recycling guidelines feature, RRNY works to simplify recycling for NYS residents. While CSCS leads RRNY, one of the special things about the campaign is that it is informed by recycling leaders from across New York State. Since the recycling guidelines and available technology differ from county to county, from the topics we choose to cover, to the content we create, we do it all with the RRNY stakeholders in mind. ♻ Check out the Recyclopedia here: https://lnkd.in/e8uxa5wJ ✅ Know your local recycling guidelines: https://lnkd.in/e67heW6 👉 To learn more about the RRNY campaign or join the stakeholder group, visit https://lnkd.in/dPdzNYp and 👥 Follow RRNY on social media to stay up to date on recycling across New York State: https://lnkd.in/ehCX6DJE
